About This Compound

BPC-157 — short for Body Protective Compound 157 — is a synthetic pentadecapeptide (a 15-amino-acid sequence) originally isolated from a protective fragment found in human gastric juice. First described in the peptide literature in the early 1990s by a group at the University of Zagreb, it has since become one of the most widely investigated pentadecapeptides in the preclinical and in-vitro research literature.

The compound's primary sequence is Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val (molecular weight 1419.54 Da). Because of its short size and relatively simple chemistry, it is well-suited to solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) and to routine quality-control workflows such as reverse-phase HPLC and ESI mass spectrometry.

Every BPC-157 vial supplied by BioInfinity is manufactured by SPPS using Fmoc-protected amino acids, purified by preparative reverse-phase HPLC to ≥ 99% area under the peak at 214 nm, and identity-confirmed by ESI-MS. Endotoxin content is verified below 0.5 EU/mg by LAL assay. Batches are additionally sent to an independent third-party lab (Verum Analytics, Switzerland) for a matching Certificate of Analysis that ships with every order.

BPC-157 is presented as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) white powder in a septum-sealed 5 mg or 10 mg vial, ready for reconstitution with bacteriostatic water for laboratory use. It is stable at 2–8 °C refrigeration for normal-use timeframes and long-term at −20 °C protected from light.

Synthesis, Purification & Quality Control

Our BPC-157 is produced by solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) using Fmoc-protected amino acids and standard PyBOP coupling chemistry. The crude product is cleaved from resin with a TFA/scavenger cocktail and precipitated with cold ether before purification.

Purification is performed on a preparative reverse-phase C18 column with a water/acetonitrile gradient buffered with 0.1% TFA. Fractions are collected on UV/MS-triggered thresholds and pooled based on 214 nm HPLC purity. Only fractions ≥ 99% area-under-peak are retained; the final pool is desalted and lyophilized to a fluffy white powder.

Every finished lot passes the following release panel before it is packaged: identity (ESI-MS within ± 0.5 Da of theoretical), purity (HPLC ≥ 99%), water content (Karl Fischer < 8%), residual solvents (GC headspace), and endotoxin (LAL < 0.5 EU/mg). A retained sample of every lot is sent to Verum Analytics in Switzerland for independent verification; the resulting third-party COA is published on our public /coa-library.

Handling, Reconstitution & Storage

BPC-157 arrives as a lyophilized powder in a septum-sealed borosilicate vial. For laboratory work it is typically reconstituted with bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) to a working concentration of 1–5 mg/mL. Prepare in a laminar-flow hood using aseptic technique.

Short-term storage: refrigerate lyophilized powder at 2–8 °C for weeks to a small number of months. Long-term storage: −20 °C protected from light, sealed against moisture. Reconstituted solution: refrigerate at 2–8 °C and use within 3–4 weeks per general peptide-handling literature; avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I buy BPC-157 in the USA?

BioInfinity is a US-based research peptide supplier shipping BPC-157 same-day from our Manhattan facility. Every vial ships with a batch-matched third-party Certificate of Analysis (COA) and includes cold-chain packaging when the transit route requires it.

What purity is your BPC-157?

Our BPC-157 is ≥ 99% pure by reverse-phase HPLC, identity-confirmed by mass spectrometry, and endotoxin-tested via LAL assay. The exact assay values for the batch you receive are published on your product page and are also included as a printed COA in the shipment.

Do you provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA) with BPC-157?

Yes. Every shipment includes a batch-matched COA from an independent third-party laboratory (Verum Analytics, Switzerland). You can also verify the batch online in our public COA library using the verification code printed on the vial label — no login required.

How is BPC-157 shipped?

USPS Priority (2-3 business days) or UPS Ground (3-5 days). Cold-chain packaging with gel packs sized to the transit route. Discreet plain unbranded outer boxes — the label carries only the address and standard postal markings.

What payment methods can I use for BPC-157?

Credit / debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, USDC stablecoin, and wire transfer for institutional orders. Zelle typically clears fastest and is the most common payment method our repeat customers use.

Is BPC-157 FDA-approved or intended for human use?

No. BPC-157 is not FDA-approved for any therapeutic indication. BioInfinity supplies BPC-157 strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. It is not intended for human, veterinary, or in-vivo use of any kind.

How should I store BPC-157 once it arrives?

The lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder is stable at 2–8 °C refrigeration for normal-use timeframes. For extended storage until the expiry date, store at −20 °C protected from light. Once reconstituted for bench work, refrigerate at 2–8 °C and use within 3–4 weeks per general peptide-handling literature.

Can I get a bulk / institutional discount on BPC-157?

Yes. Professional accounts qualify for tiered volume discounts. Create a Professional account at /account, or e-mail [email protected] with your institution and PO details.

What is your return policy on BPC-157?

Unopened, cold-chain-intact vials can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund minus return shipping. Opened vials are non-returnable due to the nature of the product. If a shipment arrives damaged or thawed, contact us within 48 hours for a free replacement.
